It wasn’t until 2008 that I realized I had a passion for photography.  I mean, I always enjoyed taking pictures, but at some point that popular activity that everybody does turned into something more for me.  I think it is largely the composition of a photograph that sets apart the good ones from the bad ones, and composition is what got me hooked on photography in the first place.  I started seeing the world in still frames – at first, maybe just once or twice a month.  And then it was more like once or twice a week.  And soon, I couldn’t help seeing those “normal,” everyday scenes as an awesome photograph, if captured from the right angle.

I’m entirely self-taught, with no formal training.  This website showcases some of my favorite shots – all taken with my Nikon D80.  I’m updating it slowly, and there are many more pictures to come; so stay tuned.

This is the world Through My Lens – I hope you enjoy the journey.  And if you do (or even if you don’t) – leave a comment!  Feedback is always appreciated.
